River City Raas is the Virginia's premiere intercollegiate Raas/Garba Competition that portrays dances from the state of Gujarat, India, to raise cultural awareness. The teams showcase their talent through different forms of Raas and Garba. The show will feature eight teams competing for first, second, and third place. Those who do place earn bid points towards the national championship competition called Raas All Stars, where teams compete to earn the title of the best collegiate Raas-Garba team in the nation.
